What we collect and why

When you sign up to our waitlist, we collect the following information:

• Email address: to notify you when ReviseIQ launches. This is required to join the waitlist.
• Phone number: optional. Only collected if you choose to provide it and consent to an SMS launch notification.
• Your role (parent, tutor, school/SENCO): to understand who is interested in ReviseIQ and to tailor how we communicate with you.
• Subject of interest: optional. Helps us understand which subjects to prioritise when building ReviseIQ.
• Age confirmation: we confirm you are over 18 before collecting your data. ReviseIQ is a product for students, but this form is for adults signing up on their behalf.
• SMS consent: if you tick the SMS opt-in, we record that separately as required under UK PECR.

Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR). You give this consent when you submit the waitlist form.

For SMS communications, we rely on a separate, explicit consent as required under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us at hello@reviseiq.co.uk.

How we use your data

• To send you one email when ReviseIQ launches
• To send you one SMS when ReviseIQ launches, if you opted in
• To understand the shape of early demand (role, subject interest). This is used internally only and is never shared

We will not use your data for any other marketing purpose without asking you again first.

How we store your data

Waitlist responses are collected and stored via Netlify Forms, which is hosted on Netlify's infrastructure. Netlify is GDPR-compliant. You can read Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.

We do not transfer your data outside the UK or EEA without appropriate safeguards in place.

How long we keep your data

We will hold your waitlist data until ReviseIQ launches, at which point we will either move your details to our customer communication platform (with your continued consent) or delete them. If ReviseIQ does not launch within 24 months of your sign-up, we will delete your data.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. See Your Rights below.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate data
• Delete your data (the right to erasure)
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal
• Object to processing or request restriction of processing
• Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

This page does not currently use any tracking or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent.
